From VH1.com: Fear not, Box Car Racer fans. Although the group that features Blink-182 guitarist Tom DeLonge and drummer Travis Barker rounded its final turn Tuesday in Detroit, they're committed to making another lap around the music track.
When the green
flag flies again, however, depends on how long it takes Blink-182's next album — which DeLonge, Barker and bassist Mark Hoppus plan to work on in January — to run its course.
"What I would like is to do an every-other-year type thing," DeLonge said. "But Blink definitely has priority, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens. You can't really schedule it, because Blink is at the top of the list of things to do."...

From LasVegasWeekly.com:On “I Feel So,” the opening song and first single off Boxcar Racer’s self-titled debut album, Tom DeLonge’s wish list is as long as a guitar neck. Among other things, the vocalist and guitarist yearns to be younger, more honest, smarter and in possession of the ability to cure “how people are.” Especially to cure how people are—himself included. At the time he was recording the song, back problems had left DeLonge in so much pain that he’d sing for five minutes and spend the next 20 minutes on the ground with his feet in the air. The pain, coupled with the painkillers he’d been on, did a real number on him. He was hurting, tired and depressed, all of which came through on the album.
“It sounds stupid because you wouldn’t think that I would really feel that way, knowing how I am with the other band,” DeLonge says. “But I really was, and I’m not even making it up to make me sound like a tortured artist...”
