WASHINGTON, Nov. 18 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National Park Service and the National Park Foundation announced yesterday that Sheryl Crow, Common and Ray LaMontagne will perform at the 2009 National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. The annual holiday event will be streamed live at www.thenationaltree.org on Dec. 3rd at 5:00 EST/2:00 PST, and will be broadcast nationwide beginning Dec. 4th, on public broadcasting stations in partnership with WETA, Washington, D.C.'s flagship public broadcasting station (check local listings).

Sheryl Crow is a nine-time Grammy Award winning, multi-platinum singer-song writer. Her many other honors include three American Music Awards, a People's Choice Award, and a spot on VH1's "100 Greatest Women of Rock & Roll."

Common is a Grammy Award winner and multi-platinum selling recording artist who has collaborated with hip-hop producers Kanye West, Will.i.am, Pharell and many more. Common has also built a career as an entrepreneur, film actor and author of children's books.

Ray LaMontagne is a singer and songwriter, whose third and most recent album, "Gossip in the Grain" debuted at number three on the Billboard Charts. Rolling Stone magazine has described his voice as "full of the warm yearning of a young Van Morrison."

Additional performers will be announced next week.

The National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is presented by the National Park Foundation and National Park Service. Underwriters Laboratories is the premier sponsor of the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony 2009. Alex Coletti Productions will produce the ceremony. The spectacular debut album that launched Sheryl Crow into rock music consciousness has been expanded both musically and visually for the 2CD/1DVD Tuesday Night Music Club – Deluxe Edition (A&M/UM^e), released November 17, 2009. Along with the original 1993 album, the package adds a second CD containing B-sides, rarities and out-takes, as well as a bonus DVD featuring the album’s videos (“Leaving Las Vegas,” “All I Wanna Do,” “Strong Enough,” “Can’t Cry Anymore,” “Run, Baby, Run” and “What I Can Do For You,” plus a rare alternate version of “All I Wanna Do” directed by Roman Coppola) and a newly produced documentary comprised of on-the-road, backstage, soundcheck and live footage from the original album tour.

Highlighting the bonus CD for Tuesday Night Music Club – Deluxe Edition are four previously unreleased recordings from 1995 that were intended for the follow-up album--“Coffee Shop,” “Killer Life,” “Essential Trip Of Hereness” and “You Want More”

--each only now mixed by original Tuesday Night Music Club producer Bill Bottrell. In addition, Bottrell remixed the album’s “I Shall Believe” specifically for this Deluxe Edition. The bonus CD also includes a trio of U.K. single B-sides (“Reach Around Jerk,” an alternate “The Na-Na Song” titled “Volvo Cowgirl 99” and a cover of Eric Carmen’s “All By Myself”), a tribute album cover of Led Zeppelin’s “D’yer Mak’er,” and “On The Outside,” a contribution to an X-Files soundtrack album.

Tuesday Night Music Club has proved to be a landmark achievement even beyond propelling Crow’s own formidable career by inspiring and influencing countless female singer-songwriters, perhaps even saving that genre from extinction in the grungy days of the early ‘90s. Certified seven times platinum and charting at #3, the album spawned five Grammy® nominations and three wins: Best New Artist and a pair for “All I Wanna Do,” including Record of the Year. SAN FRANCISCO, Ca. – The lineup for the 23^rd annual Bridge School Benefit concerts was unveiled today, bringing another star-studded lineup to Shoreline Amphitheatre including acoustic performances by Neil Young, No Doubt, Jimmy Buffett (performing Saturday only), Chris Martin of Coldplay, Adam Sandler (performing Sunday only), Sheryl Crow, Fleet Foxes, Monsters of Folk (featuring Conor Oberst, Yim Yames, M. Ward and Mike Mogis), Wolfmother and Gavin Rossdale.

These iconic annual concerts hosted by Neil and Pegi Young benefit The Bridge School, a program for the communicative and educational development of children with severe speech and physical impairments.

Tickets for the 23rd Annual Bridge School Benefit Conerts are on sale Sunday, September 20th at 10am at Livenation.com or charge by phone at (877) 598-6659.  Tickets may be purchased at the Shoreline Amphitheatre Box Office between 10am to 2pm on Sundays with no service charge. Advance tickets are $150.00 and $75.00 for reserved seating and $39.50 for general admission plus applicable service charges. Four packs of general admission tickets may be purchased for $99.00. There is a 2 ticket limit for reserved seats and 8 ticket total purchase limit for these shows.

There are a limited number of lower level reserved seats available via auction at Livenation.com beginning September 20^th at 10am. Proceeds from these auction tickets will benefit the Bridge School.

CHICAGO (September 2, 2009) – Feeding America is pleased to announce that Grammy Award-winning artist Sheryl Crow, Grammy Award-winning artist Ben Harper,  Benji and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte, and Grammy Award-winning artist Jonny Lang will all perform at the “Rock a Little, Feed a Lot” concert on Tuesday, September 29th at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, a special concert being held during  Hunger Action Month (September) to help raise awareness and funds for the 35 million people who are at risk of hunger in America. Tickets for “Rock a Little, Feed a Lot” are on sale now at www.ticketmaster.com.   

Celebs confirmed to be a part of the event include David Arquette, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and others.   Adam Shankman, producer and director of “Step Up,” “Hairspray,” “Bringing Down the House,” and “17 Again” is directing the event.  Proceeds of the concert will go to the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank and Feeding America.
