Scars on Broadway is the long-awaited collaborative effort between guitarist-frontman Daron Malakian and drummer John Dolmayan, both best known for their work in the multi-Platinum-selling, Grammy-winning band, System of a Down. While System of a Down may be on hiatus, make no mistake: Scars on Broadway is NOT considered a "side project" by Malakian or Dolmayan. "This is our focus now," said Malakian. "John and I want Scars to have its own identity."
Scars on Broadway's self-titled debut, with Malakian sitting in the producer's chair, will be released on July 29
th.
