Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) have played an active role in some of the careers of both our artists and executives. In more recent years, we have seen the value of HBCUs become more of a priority in more ways than one. From The White House to the Football Field, HBCUs have proven that they have and always will be an indelible foundation of community and culture for years to come. When referencing the soul of HBCUs, the first thing that comes to mind? HOMECOMING. Homecoming is a celebratory week of activities for undergraduates and alumni of any college or university, but there is NOTHING like Homecoming Season at HBCUs. In most of our lives, music acts as a connection to time and memories. For Homecoming, we always remember the songs, the dances, the step show routines, the concert performers, and all of the moments rooted in the songs of the times.
