Joni Mitchell remains one of the most important, influential, independent, and iconoclastic music artists of our time. We’re proud to present this new vinyl repress of Night Ride Home to celebrate its 35th anniversary.
On Night Ride Home (Joni’s 14th studio album originally released February 1991), Mitchell returned to her a smaller ensemble, spotlighting her voice and acoustic guitar. With a turn from singer Brenda Russell and the track “Slouching Toward Bethlehem” based on a W.B. Yeats poem. The album was her most critically acclaimed since the ‘70s.
The album is presented in a gatefold jacket and includes a 2-sided litho of Joni’s original photo prints.
This pressing was mastered directly from the original analog master tapes by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering, Hollywood, CA
