The Folk Implosion’s 1999 release One Part Lullaby captures Lou Barlow and John Davis working in tandem, expanding the band’s lo-fi origins into something sleeker, stranger, and fully realized: intimate indie-pop wired with drum machines, samples, synths, shadowy guitars, and late-’90s electronic atmosphere.
