Upon the release The Sufferer and the Witness (July 4, 2006), Rise Against continued to popularize melodic hardcore music influencing numerous bands for years to come. Fans of Rise Against found hope and catharsis in The Sufferer and the Witness – especially in tracks “Prayer of the Refugee,” “The Good Left Undone,” “Injection,” “Under the Knife,” and “Survive.”  Closing out the album is the bonus track, “But Tonight We Dance.”
